Choosing your size and fit: The stated measurements are for the actual garment, choose a size with your desired ease, at least 2” / 5 cm positive ease is recommended.

Yarn: Sample knitted in Rauma Vams (84 m / 50 g), any yarn can be used.

Yardage:

Needles: 5.5 mm & 6 mm circular needles and/or DPNs

Needle sizes are recommended, choose a size needed to achieve gauge.

Gauge: 14 stitches & 20 rows per 4” / 10 cm in stockinette after blocking on larger needles.

Notions: 3 spare cables or waste yarn to hold the back and shoulders, selection of clip on a sliding stitch markers.

Difficulty: Confident Beginner. This pattern requires only basic knit, purl and simple increase stitches. The stranded colourwork only uses 2 colours at a time and you do not need to catch floats. The sweater is knit in the round top down.
