I'm Iris, the designer behind hirismakes. Foremost, I am a lover of nature and the natural beauty that surrounds us everyday. As well as a knitwear design I am also a neuroscientist, where I study the fundamental properties that make brains work.

In my daily life I am often in awe of the elegant solutions nature has found, this simple elegance is the inspiration behind many of my designs. My designs reflect seasonality and change in nature as well as in our daily lives, celebrating the best mother nature has to offer.
