CLOSED: Sweet Shop Cardigan Testing Call

The Sweet Shop Cardigan is inspired by the joy of entering a sweet shop brimming full of colour, with this design more is more, speckled colourful yarn is paired with pearly buttons to give a sense of joy and plenty. You can of course opt for any colour and buttons you like, that’s the fun of knitting after all!

*actual garment size, choose a size with at least 2" / 5cm positive ease

Yarn: Sample is knitted in The Petite Wool by we are knitters in the colour 'yarnicorn' (140m/100g). If you're new to we are knitters you can use the following code at checkout to get £10/euro/$ off: 'MGMIUP9XB'. However you can use any yarn that meets the gauge.

Yardage: 400g (450g, 500g, 550g, 600g) (650g, 700g, 750g, 800g)

560m (630m, 700m, 770m, 840m) (910m, 980m, 1050m, 1120m)

Needles: 6 & 7mm needles (DPN/circular for sleeves)

Gauge: 13 stitches & 18 rows in ribbing pattern

Techniques: Attaching buttons, tubular bind off (optional)

Buttons: 5x 2.3cm / 3/4 inch buttons, sample uses pearly buttons, which I will also be offering in my shop here. You should also be able to find similar ones online.
