The Book Shop Cardigan is inspired by the warm and cosy feeling of browsing through your favourite book shop. The fluffy texture combined with simple cables gives this cardigan a rich and cosy feeling. Knitted top down with saddle shoulders this cardigan is designed to be fitted on the shoulders and sleeves. You can of course opt for any button style you like!

32” (36”, 40”, 44”, 48”) (52”, 56”, 60”, 64”) / 86cm (91cm, 106cm, 116cm, 126cm) (136cm, 146cm, 156cm, 166cm)
*actual garment size, choose a size with at least 2" / 5cm positive ease
Yarn: Sample is knitted in drops wish (70m/50g). However you can use any yarn that meets the gauge.
Yardage: 400g (450g, 500g, 550g, 600g) (650g, 700g, 750g, 800g)
560m (630m, 700m, 770m, 840m) (910m, 980m, 1050m, 1120m)
Needles: 8 & 9mm needles (DPN/circular for sleeves)
Gauge: 12 stitches & 16 rows in cable pattern
Techniques: Attaching buttons, tubular bind off (optional)
Buttons: 5x 2.3cm / 3/4 inch buttons, sample uses pearly buttons. You should also be able to find similar ones online.
