Hi there! If you made it this far, thank you so much for your interest in helping me get my designs in front of new people.

BACKGROUND. As a part time knitwear designer (and full time scientist!) I find it really hard to put sufficient time into hirismakes, I have thought long and hard about what I can do to take some pressure off myself without letting my dear brand disappear into nothingness. I love designing, that's what I'm in it for, I also enjoy grading patterns, I don't mind the writing and editorial process, and I enjoying going out on photoshoots. What I am not great at and don't enjoy / don't have the headspace for is advertising, which let's face it is a BIG problem, there's no point designing if no one sees your designs. So this is where you come in. I know many of you love creating content, be that on instagram, youtube or elsewhere, but you just don't want to be a designer, if this is you, then we are made for each other!

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR. As mentioned earlier I am in need of help with getting my designs in front of people so I'm looking for people who have a good social media presence with good reach and engagement, follower count is not everything here, I am looking for good consistent content. I am especially keen if you have your own youtube channel as this is an area I'd love to be able to explore more but just cannot find the time for. I'd be happy to show up as a guest on your podcast for example! WHATS THE CATCH? I am not asking for any complex contracts with minimum posting requirements, however should the relationship become one sided (for example you download all the free patterns but don't post for months) I will reserve the right to remove you from the program (sorry!), of course if at any point you don't feel like it's working for you anymore just let me know, no hard feelings! I also ask that you are careful in complying with advertising regulations and make sure that you make followers aware that you are postings 'Ads'.
